Hello everyone,
is an 11 cm or 24 cm interior wall made of normal (hollow) bricks sufficient for adequate sound insulation?
1) between bathroom and children's room, so that the children do not wake up every time someone goes to the toilet at night.
2) between hobby room and children's room, when playing console games or PC games quietly with others at night?
Then every time a 24 cm wall, because it probably isolates/separates the noise between the two rooms much better than a standard 11 cm wall, right?
Let me know. Or should one perhaps use limestone walls because they have higher density? Is it unproblematic to mix two different bricks (the exterior walls are Poroton T7)?
Thank you very much
