We already plan to build later this year or early next year. You never know where interest rates will go now, and houses aren't getting any cheaper either. Sure, we could keep saving equity now, but is waiting really better if interest rates are much worse in a year hmm. Yeah, we’d need a crystal ball :p

We are planning to build a small house soon, after we have saved up some equity over a few years. :) The interest bet is gambling.. it might work.. or not. We just didn’t feel like "gambling" anymore. :)

Ahh I have to correct myself. We have saved up over the last few years. How embarrassing, sorry.

Hello everyone, first get a house offer with a basement and all additional costs prepared, and then you will see what house construction costs to expect, then clarify the financing, otherwise it makes no sense.

I hardly believe you will stick to the costs. I rather suspect it will be between €250K and €270K. Construction prices have risen massively in recent years, so the prices from the construction diaries should always be viewed taking the date of creation into account. Really get an offer made. In Rabenau, you presumably can hardly save on the basement either, given the ups and downs there.

At the same time, just have an initial consultation regarding the possible budget at Dr. Klein. I found them quite competent in Dresden.
