Wrong device delivered - supplier is ignoring it by remaining silent

Dear forum members,

we received the wrong kitchen appliance. The desired model is better and more expensive (and was also paid for as such!). We got something much worse. We have complained. The dealer responded once to our email, but has not replied to any further emails since then. This has been going on for 2 months. How should we proceed now? Hoping for good advice.

You do not complain via emails. Send a written objection by registered mail, mentioning a feasible deadline. The email was very likely forgotten. I also delete emails every day. Accounting does not start at the PC, but with filing. Regards, Yvonne

Maybe... nevertheless, email communication is common nowadays. I don't think we were simply forgotten. We also talked on the phone.. the dealer knows us and our problem very well. We have set (sufficient) deadlines several times. I am now very annoyed by the audacity with which the dealer ignores us. As far as I'm concerned, I will also write him another letter.. Still, the question.. What legal steps should we take next? Best regards Steffi.

Was that a complete kitchen installation or just a single order?

It is "only" about a device that we ordered on the internet. The kitchen itself is from the local specialist retailer and without any defects or flaws!
