Hello everyone,
I have a double garage. A rooftop terrace is supposed to be built on it. Building permit + structural engineering documents are available.
The challenge is the middle strip (parapet of each individual garage). I want to make the terrace (from 2 garages) flush. That means WPC or terrace tiles must be laid over the middle strip. (see also )
I prefer terrace tiles (2cm) made of porcelain stoneware, as the terrace is on the south side.
Because of the middle strip, I am thinking of WPC, as it is best suited with a substructure.
Today I saw a picture of the Terra Level tile supports from the Bauhaus brochure. According to the promotional video, terrace tiles can be well installed on these tile supports.
What do you think of this solution? Will porcelain stoneware hold on it? Or should one buy concrete slabs anyway?
Thank you for your reply.
