Is it possible to lay WPC on a covered terrace parallel to the house?
Somehow we find that more attractive.

Of course, some water will come onto it from the side.

Hi, I am also currently dealing with the topic of WPC. You have to plan a slope of about 2% per meter for the terrace. The rain or dew water should run away from the house; that is not possible if the grooves run parallel to the house.

Slope and direction of water flow do not match. I would lay it as planned.

Does it not matter whether the terrace is covered or not?

Even if the terrace has a roof, the following can be possible. When it rains heavily, water splashes up from the ground or rain comes from the side. What if it freezes overnight in winter and there is some wind? During the day it then warms up and it thaws... Even with a roof, wind and weather affect it, even if it is more protected. Should it be a ground-level terrace?
