Keyword BaFöG: At least one person seems to have studied. Then the 1800€ is really meager and I don't find the reference to changing the workplace inappropriate at all.

Unfortunately, not everyone finds a well-paid job directly after their studies or there is something like a traineeship or similar, where you earn significantly less than afterwards... if you get anything afterwards...

How do you get parental allowance of 1,500 EUR with a net salary of 1,500 EUR?

Huh? It says Net 1800, EG 1100. Seems fine to me, actually looks rather underestimated. Not every studied profession is well paid (midwives and physios, for example, have often now completed dual studies or also very traditionally many of the humanities) and. [BAföG] is not only for studying.

What speaks in favor:
1. Crisis-resistant professional qualification with potential
2. high competence in household discipline (regarding the ratio of savings rate to income)
3. Craft skills and the willingness to get hands-on
4. no exaggerated ideas about the house

So: Set a banking partner, find a property, and get started.

Those who dare are trusted. Courage belongs to life. Risks always exist.
The biggest ones are incapacity to work, separation, and death. Childcare, termination & job change, surprises in the building fabric, etc. are stressful but usually manageable.

People, people, what ideas do you have about what one earns in their late twenties in East Germany? There are plenty who, despite an honorable profession, can only dream of 1,800 euros. And: They still build/buy.
