Hello everyone, we want to get started soon, the plan was solid construction KS or Poroton. Now we have received an offer for a wooden house (timber frame construction). We had not dealt with this so far, but we are open. The system from GreMagor, a company from Poland, was suggested. There are no experiences to be found online, so question to the group: Has anyone dealt with this before? Decided for or against it and if so, why? Thank you all!

With timber frame construction? That is a normal building method. Or with GreMagor? What is so special about it - do you want to build the system yourselves?

Oh, then a house based on wooden construction is a big step. That is probably a strange mix of local and American construction methods. I agree with the question. From my first impression, the system is a typical representative of the type "so ingenious that only the inventor understands it" – technically speaking, mind you, after all, it is not a given that it’s described in German for a Polish manufacturer, even down to the image captions. So I might consider an offer for a house – but an offer for a kit, I wouldn’t. What does , who knows Polish houses but lets a German company build a masonry house, say about this?

No, we do not want to build it ourselves, but have it completely built by a partner company. So far, we have not dealt with timber houses at all, therefore we have no comparisons of providers and systems and apart from the company itself, there is no information about the system. We were specifically offered construction with the GreMagor system as an alternative.

Then it is also "just" a house, albeit in a different system. At first glance, it doesn’t look wrong (but I don’t know the system). But completely different from solid construction.

I am a property developer and know the system. It offers many advantages and is internationally recognized. It is used by many companies, although they do not advertise it much. There are also hardly any carpentry companies or even I who state what I use to build a house. I also do not advertise that I use Steico Stegträger, similar to GreMagor. This company is a leader in timber construction. If someone wants to have a house built that is high-quality in terms of price and quality, I am happy to advise them.
