Hello everyone,
what do you generally think about the brand BeF from the Czech Republic? This one would be the most affordable for us. How does it compare to an expensive Schmid or an even more expensive Brunner stove?
As an example, there is the BeF Home Trend V8 CL compared to a Brunner Architektur 38/86/36 or a Schmid Ekko 10051? The Brunner is also available in 100mm width or even wider. But is an additional cost of about 1300 euros compared to a BeF justified?
Are there differences in the mechanisms of the vertically sliding doors, etc.? My chimney sweep told me that the stoves only need a (German?) type plate as well as a data sheet and must comply with the BImSchV.
Background:
We are currently planning our house and want to start construction in 3 months.
We have already been to stove builders, but the price for having a stove completely installed by one company is far too expensive for us. In particular, we are getting a geothermal heating system and want to use the stove exclusively for appearance. Also, a water jacket will be omitted. Since the heating insert is to be placed in an open-plan room with living, cooking, and dining areas and the wall is angled at 45 degrees, we want a corner stove.
Regards, Ralf
