Wolf CGB 2-14 runs endlessly and fuel consumption is extreme

Good day.

Could someone please take a look at this? Our heating system (Wolf CGB 2-14) is only short cycling and consuming an extremely high amount of gas.

House data:
Old building 1972
Double glazed windows 15 years old
Relatively poorly insulated
160m2 living space
Basement (unheated)

Brief history:
I adjusted several settings in the expert area but was still dissatisfied. I reset the parameters and since then the circulation pump stopped working. Then I briefly set "HG40 system configuration" to "K12_Weiche/PWT + HK". This caused the pump to start again. I then immediately set it back to "K01_Heizkreis". I went back to the main menu and the heating system restarted. Since then it has been working again but is short cycling badly. Additionally, several new settings appeared, e.g. "HG14 Funktion A1 or A17, A18".

Currently it is about 500 liters (almost 500€) per month (possibly a gas leak in the underground pipe?), only for the ground floor (room temperature 20°C, 90m²). On the upper floor (room temperature 10°C, 70m²) the heating thermostats are set to 1 because renovation is still ongoing there.

There is only one hot water charging (40°C) per day. (Once the gas consumption issue is resolved, we will activate the legionella mode)
