Okay, thanks for your input.
POE seems to be sufficient, that already helps me.

I won't be putting up a Mobotix for 1000€/piece on my house just yet, even if they are great.
I'm more looking for a complete set for 1000€ in total, so 4-5 cameras with POE switch etc.
First play around and then possibly upgrade!

We have installed a camera. More will be added.

Ours does have Wi-Fi, but I connected it via a LAN cable. For me, the security factor and transmission quality were the top priorities.

We hung it under the eaves. For this, the electrician laid LAN cables and 230V power to the attic.

The whole setup is connected to my Synology NAS, and I can access it worldwide. Furthermore, the camera can rotate 355 degrees and tilt to a certain extent. This way, I can control, rotate, tilt, and zoom the camera worldwide via the app.
