Windows have different parapet heights - Still within tolerance?

Hello everyone,

During the measurement for the kitchen, we noticed that the kitchen windows (around the corner) unfortunately differ in height by about 1.7 cm. See photos.

Correcting this now (final acceptance in about 4 weeks) seems practically impossible. Before I speak with the general contractor's site manager: Is there any DIN standard specifying how much the height may differ? I would like to be somewhat prepared for the conversation.

Thank you in advance!

P.S. If it cannot be corrected, what would be a reasonable demand? Actually, it wouldn’t bother us much, but it looks extremely unattractive with the kitchen niche cladding like this...

How do you manage that? Are those precast concrete elements?

Correctly identified
That obviously makes correction practically impossible. Is that still within the standard, or what would be an appropriate requirement? Thanks in advance!

2 cm for precast concrete elements are normal tolerances, the standard can be quickly found via google.

Okay, thanks. I do find various DIN standards on this, but unfortunately not the part about the tolerances...

But if 2cm are "normal," then I can forget about any form of compensation anyway.

It also happened to us. I thought something like that was unlikely with prefabricated buildings - but the specifications were misinterpreted in the construction and the surprise came during the kitchen measurement.
