Correct. However - I only wanted to mention the other common cause because it can easily be overlooked when considering the sum of two causes - the "warping" of the frame during installation is more likely here, and that is not a matter of adjustment (although the installer will notice this during adjustment and can fix it).

If it is a regular clicking and not a crackling (I know, that sounds silly), it may also be that the window installers mistakenly installed the handle olives in Sekustik version. They are specifically designed this way and are supposed to prevent burglars from opening the window by "sliding" the locking bolts from the outside. The Sekustik handle olives click regularly and are visually indistinguishable from the standard version.

Hi,

we seem to have such handles as well. They "click" multiple times when opening/turning the handle in all positions. But all our handles do that. :)
