Window exterior color slate gray

Hello everyone,
we are currently facing the decision of which color the window frames, front door, and roof should have.
For now, we have decided on white inside and slate gray RAL 7015 outside for the windows. Has anyone of you also chosen this color and could share their experiences regarding a blue tint, preferably with a photo?

Stupid question, why did you choose the color?
I mean, you must have seen it somewhere yourselves, which then led you to choose that color.

I'm asking because something like that is probably hard to judge from a photo.
There are simply too many factors involved for you to be sure that the actual color is visible in the picture.
It starts with the lighting conditions in the photo, goes through the color matching, and up to the calibration of your screen.
I wouldn’t want to rely on that for such a decision, especially if it’s not about red or blue, but about light gray or not-so-light gray windows.

We got the entire color palette from the window manufacturer on loan. Be sure to get something like that before you decide.

We have not made a final decision yet. As you already say, it depends on the incidence of light. I will get the color charts and assess the color under sunlight.

Slate grey has no fundamental bluish tint. For aluminum windows, the shades are colorfast over time; for plastic windows, (as far as I know except for Gealan) foils are common when gray tones are desired. This can behave quite differently.

In any case, caution should be exercised when matching windows and bricks to the "same" tone, firstly regarding the accuracy of the match and secondly the durability of this uniformity.

Initially, we wanted Anthracite RAL 7016, but now we prefer a slightly lighter gray for the windows, front door, and garage. Telegrau 2 RAL 7046 seems to me to be a very neutral mid-gray? Any experience in the light to mid-gray range?
