Do these butt joints still need to be filled with any material or is plastering inside and outside sufficient? We noticed several spots with these joints today and at first thought it was shoddy workmanship – just laymen after all.
The thought is not that far-fetched after all... if that were your only insulation and the BU applied cement mortar there, you would have a thermal bridge. Bieber wrote it - your joints should probably be filled with suitable mortar.
