Hi,
I would appreciate it if you could briefly outline what is meant by "Vorbehaltsklausel" so that it can be on the radar right away...

Thanks.
Regards,
bxka

So with us, it was said that this preliminary contract (reservation of land until 31.12.12) is made so that we receive a detailed offer, with which we can then obtain quotes from tile layers etc. to determine the approximate final amount. If we were to buy land or build there by 31.12, we would be bound to this family company and the contract would come into effect, otherwise it can be terminated. When asked about the 10% compensation, they said that claims can only be made once we place orders for services, i.e. starting from the architect's service. It is apparently a nationwide trick and well known to the consumer center.

So where is your problem? Don't buy any land and say goodbye to the company....

I would also like to know what the tiler has to do with the final price.... Calculate from 30€/sqm + 40€ per sqm labor costs. If it ends up being too expensive, you just have to lay cheap laminate.

I find this interesting because we have just received a contract (Town & Country Standard) that includes a right of withdrawal if we do not take a plot of land from the general contractor. However, the wording seems very questionable to us – I think there was also a thread in this forum about it. The problem is: in the Munich region, it is simply difficult to get a suitable plot of land, and a general contractor with multiple customers, contacts, etc., naturally has a few more options.
