White "crystal spots" on clinker? Normal?

Hello everyone,

I have attached a few pictures of my clinker. It is a coal-fired clinker.

I have seen this clinker on several houses and I liked it. Despite the comparatively high price, we decided to go for it.

The white "salt crystals" (as I call them) did not catch my eye on the other houses. That would also have been a reason to decide against it. You can scrape some spots off with a bit of effort.

But is that normal? Should we have been informed about it? Is it considered a defect? Can we claim damages or something similar?

Thank you for a brief response!

Unfortunately, I cannot see any white crystal points in the pictures.

To me, all the stones look dirty, many with these stripes as if other stones have left imprints, and in many places some kind of white stuff.

Maybe you can take a close-up of what you mean.

There are those efflorescences on clinker facades, do you mean that?

However, I can only give the keyword here, we live in a plaster area ;)
