Hello everyone,

I am slowly facing the choice of window sills for the outside.

What are your experiences regarding aluminum, plastic, or granite?
Rough or smooth surface?
What should I budget per m²?

The location is western Münsterland. I think that also plays a role in the price determination.

Regarding the appearance: We have all windows and doors in RAL 7016 and very dark red, glazed roof tiles. The house has a normal roof overhang and a dark red brick with some dark gray stones in between.

If desired, I can gladly upload pictures of the house.

Thank you for your help!

There are users who do not want to use any external site to view a photo. You can also upload a photo directly here.

I already thought that. But I can't upload a picture via mobile because they are simply too large. Then I'll make up for it tomorrow. Sorry!

We have always had granite windowsills so far and have always been satisfied with them. Aluminum is also very common here, and it doesn’t look bad either, but you have to be a bit careful not to scratch it. Brick-faced houses often have a windowsill made from the same stones.

Best regards
