Hello

I am getting a Tesla Model 3

Which Wallbox can you recommend to me?

The Wallbox would be mounted at the parking space outdoors (no garage, no carport)

I have the following questions:

Should I take a Wallbox with a fixed cable or with a socket (but the cable lockable)
Should I take a Wallbox with up to 22 kW or just an 11 kW
Which functions should a Wallbox offer

The Wallbox must be RFID secured (it is outdoors accessible to everyone) and must have all protective mechanisms such as DC protection.

Can you possibly recommend a Wallbox to me?

I had a wallbox from ABL, an eMH1, installed 3 weeks ago.

It is the ADAC test winner and limited to 11 KW due to KfW funding (there is no 900 Euro funding for 22 KW) – but you can still charge about 70 km range per hour. Or 8 hours to full.

The box is secured with a key switch, an RCD is integrated, and there was already a separate RCD for the cable in the fuse box.
The protection class is IP54, so it can be installed outdoors.
There are also some kind of metal roofs from third-party providers that can be mounted above it, which would make the wallbox somewhat more protected.

Thank you, I have already seen the ABL but unfortunately it does not have RFID

I am currently wavering between the easee home and the evbox elvi

What does it look like, are you afraid of vandalism, that someone might cut the cable or damage the box?

I just looked at it. Delivery time on 5 different sites is over 30 weeks :-)

What do you think of the easee home Wallbox? It is highlighted everywhere as the best value for money.

Ok, but what do you need RFID for? Multiple users who are billed separately? Or pure access control – for the latter, the lock is enough.

There are also boxes with separate cables. Damage? You have that problem with every box, it depends on your environment. For us, I considered the lock more as a necessity because of playing children and so on, the charging spot is located on a private road/driveway.
