Which shower enclosure manufacturer?

I have been searching the internet for days now but somehow can't make much sense of it.

Currently building. The bathroom will have the [Subway 2.0] series from [Villeroy & Boch]. We only have to get the shower enclosure ourselves.

Dimensions: 90x90

Can someone recommend a good manufacturer?

Important to me are 8mm glass, height 210 cm.

We have our shower enclosure or our shower wall from Schulte. I am satisfied with the quality so far, but they only have 6 mm glass.

Why do you need 8 mm?

We hired a local glazier (requested multiple quotes) and thus received high-quality glass made to measure and proper fittings (that is the expensive part). It was not more expensive, and you also have a warranty on the installation.

A local glazier? Also interesting! I will give it some thought.

Why 8mm? I just think it’s a bit more stable and higher quality. I somehow liked the feel better when trying it out in the supermarket at 8mm.

I have had quite good experiences buying from a dealer (Name: "Glasdeals") on Amazon.de. Half the price of the hardware store, delivery with scheduled appointment directly to the correct room, and really good quality.
