I have 3 narrow beds

1x with roses and perennials

1x with flowering shrubs planted in Nov/18 Mar/19. The first over 2 m tall and the width already in places 1 m. Especially the weigela and the Scottish shrub rose have exploded. The forsythia has already been stripped of a few branches.

1x with rambler rose which does not fit at all with you, lilies, gladioli, lilac, bleeding heart, peony, iris (beware they multiply like crazy)

That would be my dream – but unfortunately the strip is only 80cm wide. :(

How nice is the neighbor? A few branches that extend over his fence shouldn't really bother him. Then it should work with upright-growing, pruning-tolerant shrubs. In particularly privacy-needed spots, one or two Thuja can also be used - as long as they are not lined up like little tin soldiers with shaped cuts, I don't find that so bad.
