Hello everyone,

we are renewing the windows and have now obtained several offers. It concerns 23 windows + front door
Triple glazed, on the ground floor with raffstore + insect protection, on the upper floor with roller shutters + insect protection.

The scope is almost the same in the inquiries and the dealers/craftsmen do not differ much either. Therefore, in the end, the issue of price/performance decides.

We had no special requirements regarding security.
I know that the manufacturer of the window profile itself only accounts for part of the quality. In the end, it is also the fittings, the installation process (use of compressible tape), etc.

But to take a first step, we have now received the following offers which I have summarized in the attachment, as well as an example window each (except no. 5, as there are only few details here).

Do you see any favorites or any not so good details?

Veka V2 and Softline are identical profiles (you are also looking at Polish suppliers – they like to invent their own names). Otherwise, there are no real differences in the frames. Glass? Nothing is mentioned about that. Installation? Always according to RAL or just foam (= botched work)? Colored? Then better Gealan Acrylcolor.

P.S. Didn’t get enough answers in the green forum?

Thank you for the feedback.

If foam = botch... What wouldn't be botch?

There isn’t much information about the glass... True. Only light transmission rate 73.

Unfortunately, there is no more information about the assembly either. Therefore, probably not RAL.

Veka and Gealan are manufacturers – whereby I would always prefer the coextrusion of the foil for colored ones, so Gealan – and Softline 82 MD is not a manufacturer: Softline means a profile with rounded edges, 82 mm is the installation depth in millimeters (and qualitatively without significance, similar to the number of chambers*), MD means "(with) central sealing" (as opposed to AD = "stop sealing" = without central sealing, because MD is additional and includes AD).
