In our research, it turned out that tiles are probably great for underfloor heating. But we will still choose parquet in the living room, even though it is not quite as optimal as tiles. Simply because of the feel-good effect! ;-)
We have underfloor heating with tiles, cork, and carpet, and all are equally suitable. It is also a matter of price. Tiles are quite cool to cold in summer and during transitional seasons, whereas cork and carpet are more comfortable.
