Which floor panels for the attic

Hello everyone,

since our prefabricated house has been expanded up to the beams in the attic (glass wool between the beams) and I would like to use it as storage, I now have to install a floor. Since the attic cannot be used as living space according to the development plan and it would also be too small, I would like to design it as cheaply as possible.

Since the chimney sweep also has to walk to the chimney outlet, I would plank it with OSB or chipboard.

Now the question is what the cheapest option is here (especially with the current prices).

A brief search at a hardware store with a beaver as a mascot showed that the sqm of particle board costs 9.99 euros (thickness=16mm). The OSB board of similar thickness (15mm) costs 12.99 euros per sqm.

Hehe thanks, I meant more like, what would be better. If both are equally good, then I'll take the cheaper one :) !

We are currently facing this decision as well and are choosing [Rauspund]. I can get it for 9.50 euros/sqm. The builder also advised us to use it because it is raw wood and does not seal, which would be better for insulation than OSB.

May I ask where you get these from and which ones, at the hardware stores they are even more expensive than OSB.
