However, we consciously decided against two sinks because we never use the sink together anyway (but there are only two of us). This way, with a 120 cm cabinet, there is a nice (emergency) storage space on the right and left, a larger sink, it is easier to clean, you only need one faucet, and in my opinion, it looks more spacious.

Yes, I have to agree with you on that! If you ever stop being a couple, you can replace the one sink with two smaller ones.

For us, it is just (unfortunately?) the case that we have to leave the house at the same time, so at the same time also use the sink. In our old rental apartment with the standard sink, that simply drove me crazy... Someone always had to be at the mirror in the hallway. Now everyone can work on their own side, and despite the increased cleaning effort, I really wouldn’t want to miss it anymore.
