Which control system? Control heating/ventilation/air conditioning with an app

Hello everyone,

I am about to build and have the following technology. However, I do not know the best way to implement it.

Heating: Viessmann Vitodens 300-W
Ventilation: Zehnder Q450
Climate: Dakin Emura (Living + Child 1 + Child 2)
Door communication: Open, should be: Video + ideally fingerprint
Home theater (in the living area): Motorized screen + retractable curtain

I want to be able to control heating, ventilation, and climate via app. Each manufacturer has a separate app that would allow this, which is okay for me.

I would like to control 4 blinds, at least 4 lighting zones, the motorized screen, and the retractable curtain in the living area via touch panel.
Ideally, this is the same panel used for door communication.
I want to control all other floors conventionally.

How would you arrange this?

Not for me: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning are interrelated systems; in my opinion, there should ideally be one logic behind them.

I would fundamentally want to entrust home automation to a PLC and wire everything "non-proprietary" star-shaped and with multi-core cables. Isolated solutions and a Babylonian confusion of incompatible bus systems have no place in a new building, in my opinion. Pretty much the only thing that can make me lose my temper is when there is a "fruit bowl" with seven remote controls on the coffee table.

I think so too, and even more ideally, both can do everything (depending on the user's authorization).

On the one hand, appetite comes while eating. And on the other hand, working, housekeeping, living, and sleeping belong to the same people. In my opinion, it only "fits" if you can already heat the bathroom during the news or let the morning sun onto the breakfast table while still in the bedroom.

Which system would you recommend?

KNX everything else has no future or is rather a toy or maintenance-intensive and prone to errors.

As I said, a programmable logic controller where you can "program by hand" what you want. If you're not a freak for that kind of thing, you might prefer an "off-the-shelf" solution. That's not fundamentally bad, just typically not designed for compatibility with other systems. However, I would always make sure to plan the wiring, firstly in a star topology and secondly with multi-core cables: if you want to change systems, reconfiguring connectors is easier than having to tear open the walls again because the desired system needs one more core than the previous one. And wiring a star as a bus is possible, but the other way around not (or then it "costs" cores). If it is to be a "system," I would always prefer one offered by multiple manufacturers. One that goes down with its sole manufacturer only causes trouble.
