When to apply for electricity grid connection?

we will soon begin the earthworks for the foundation slab.

Now I am wondering when is the right time to submit the order for the electricity network connection to the local utility provider?

Can I submit the application now and then arrange a specific appointment as soon as the house reaches a certain state X?

We are building without a basement, meaning the line will be laid from the street to the utility room.

How was it for you specifically? At what point was the application submitted and when was the house connection ultimately installed?

2. Accept or commission the offer
3. Make an appointment for the installation of the electricity grid connection
4. Your supplier will handle the electricity grid connection, the construction site power box must be provided by your electrician/contractor
5. Later, the construction site power box will be dismantled and relocated to the utility room

You clarify the details with your supplier.

And the whole process should happen quickly! Electricity will be needed at the latest when the foundation slab is laid. Water as well. And toilet etc.

... In any case, submit the application to the supplier so that it is processed in time. Surely, you will not be the only ones currently building a house. Therefore, the suppliers will have a lot to do.

The offer and application from the supplier have been with me since yesterday. I now have to fill them out, include the site plan and cadastral excerpt, and send them back.

The earlier the better. With us, we had to wait almost 3 months. In addition, first the wastewater, then the water, and only afterwards could the electricity be done. When the electricity was finally up, the scaffolding was in place for plastering, and they couldn't dig the trench for the electrical connection,....

You had to wait 3 months for the construction power? Or for the final house connection?
