Hello, last week we had 20 spruces removed, now only the tree stumps remain. In the summer we will have all the roots milled out.

The garden is now full of needles, which could not be avoided due to the tree felling.

How can I best get my lawn back in shape?

Lime? Is there any device that can simply vacuum up the needles?
It works with the lawnmower, but only gradually. The needles take about 7 years to decompose on their own. The problem is also that we have a dog, so I don't want to use any toxic products... Who has any idea, I am grateful for any answer ...

Hello, I also plan to remove several coniferous and deciduous trees soon, how is it best to deal with the tree stumps? I actually want to remove them completely, but some of the trees are already quite large....

Best regards Ronny

So the guy from the forestry operation told me that he has a special device and he can completely mill everything out, including the roots that are then in the immediate vicinity. With us, the spruces absolutely had to go because the roots had already partially lifted the terrace slabs.

I'm glad everything is gone now, it took a mere 3 days with EVERYTHING!

But what about all the needles now???

Leaf blower?
I already tried to get rid of some with the lawn mower, it works a bit, but you'd have to mow over one spot 1000 times and with nearly 1000 sqm, that's quite something.
