What type of privacy screen would you suggest?

Hello,
Since the landscape gardener is starting in September and will completely design our outdoor area, only this one corner remains.
One side is open towards the neighbor, I would like it to be closed, it should look nice and not be too expensive. Do you have any ideas?
Best regards, Moni

Too expensive is flexible. The cheapest are plants. Climbing plants like roses, Virginia creeper [Wilderwein] Fruit hedges Maybe behind them a simple wooden wall

I personally find bamboo really beautiful. But I have been told that it spreads quite a lot. So you would have to somehow confine it. The main plant only lives for about 7 years or so. So you would have to renew it every 7 years...

I have now put mine as privacy screen into a planter, 120*45*45... you just have to make sure you don't choose one that spreads by runners.

Build it yourself with battens for little money and in front, add some greenery as you like, if desired.

Fargesia is clump-forming. And not every bamboo dies off every 7 years. But a proper root barrier is really important, yes.
