... we were offered a Rockwool thermal insulation with WL 035 and 12cm. Is that sufficient for a roof renovation?
Since the work on the heat-exchanging building envelope - especially in the attic - counts among the "difficult" tasks, it should definitely be properly, comprehensively, and meticulously planned, coordinated, executed, inspected, and documented. The already mentioned differential pressure-supported leakage test within the framework of a (possibly reduced) blower-door test is highly recommended!
In this context, the scope of services to be provided by the planner, builder, or inspector must be thoroughly anchored in the construction contract.
Otherwise, all mentioned construction "partners," but also later consulted experts, lawyers, judges, and renovators will be delighted... who of course all only want "the best for you." :D
