What remains to you as a reserve?

For our older, albeit well-renovated house, we have about €30,000 in a (conceptual) blocked account for potentially sudden (emergency) repairs, such as heating, a roof blown off by a storm, or similar... Otherwise, every month we try to save an additional approximately €500 on top of the 10-year full repayment for necessities and/or comforts.

Overall, I think such planning is very dependent on individual life circumstances and is extremely difficult to compare. In particular, the age and family situation of the builders/homebuyers require, in my opinion, very individualized concepts.
