I am currently searching the internet for suitable outdoor lighting for my new apartment. How did you choose outdoor lighting and what should one pay attention to?

Thank you very much
Paul

Hello!

Well, that of course depends on the requirements and local conditions.

A 500-watt floodlight with motion sensor doesn't exactly please the neighbors.

LED is very economical, but a bit weak as a single light.

Halogen gets very hot – if you want to see that as an advantage.

We have the 2x3 watt Aldi lights as permanent lighting – but that gets a bit tight for a barbecue evening on the terrace :D.

Best regards,
TomTom.

Hi TomTom,

First of all, thank you for your answer! On the internet, you can find a wide variety of outdoor lighting, it's hard to know which one to choose haha !!
Meanwhile, I have found a nice outdoor light on hitmeister (24-watt floodlight), it looks good and hopefully it is also of high quality...

Thank you very much!

Hello, Paulp!

The one for 277 euros? Super chic! I could like it too.....

But also a proud price. 8 x 3 watts are a good compromise.

Best regards,
TomTom.

So I bought a few solar lamps at the garden center... I think they are some lovely little gadgets that fit very well in the garden. I have no idea which manufacturer they were from, but they definitely didn’t cost much.

Hello guys, since we are already on the subject of lights, I am currently in the process of equipping my apartment with some new lighting events. Do you perhaps have a few ideas related to this?

However, I wanted to design it so that the room is indirectly lit, but I have no desire for neon tubes installed behind wall grooves - so hidden. The plastering effort is just too great. So I am open to any suggestion...
