Hello everyone,

can someone tell me in which DIN standard the distance that downpipes must have from the building's exterior wall is specified? Is there even a regulation about this or can the plumber choose the distance freely (for example, also no distance from the wall)?

Have 2cm in mind (but to my knowledge this is not stated in any DIN).

How is a distance of 0 possible? The clamps alone already provide about 2-3cm distance.

2cm distance to the raw wall and then the plasterer just did it.

I wouldn’t accept it like that and would insist on a correction. The sound transmission can be tremendous, especially if it’s a timber house with ETICS.
