Hello everyone: We painted white clouds on textured wallpaper with regular wall paint. Unfortunately, the edges became very thick ("accentuated"). Now we want to repaint the wallpaper. How do I remove the "thick" layers of paint from the cloud edges beforehand? Thanks for any tips!

Removing the wallpaper and re-wallpapering would be the most sensible option for me.

I agree with that opinion!

Hm ... unfortunately, I cannot agree with that opinion.

Because of 4 clouds, each the size of 2 hands, I certainly will not wallpaper a wall again ...

According to the hardware store, I should try it with sandpaper ... we'll see ...

It depends a bit on the structure of the wallpaper. There is also [Raufaser] for painting/rolling, maybe after the sanding attempt you could even out the texture with it. Because sanded areas (if that even works) would then be completely smooth...

It depends on which finish you are satisfied with afterwards. Certainly, you can remove edges to some extent with careful sanding, but as mentioned above, this also smooths the surface.
