How do we find your floor plan? Not on a plot of land ;)
The stairs are the first thing that catch my eye. Where is the washing machine? I hope not in the utility room in the basement. I don’t want to carry laundry from the upper floor to the basement: First one stairway, then through a door (with laundry basket in hand), another stairway, another door, along the hallway, through another door and yet another door. Well, at least you stay fit.
....
So true, so true :) Besides, one of these doors would probably also be locked with a security lock, since otherwise the tenant of the granny flat could just walk into the house.
Where is the tenant supposed to cook? In the dining room?
Do apartments now have to have a dining room as standard? This is a kitchen with a large dining area, , in my opinion already true luxury for a granny flat ;)
What would bother me about the granny flat now is that it apparently has no exit to a garden area.
Basically, I am surprised that here is a design of a high-quality single-family house on a hillside plot for 5 people (+ granny flat), but the possibilities of having a children’s wing, possibly with a play or communication area, a separate parents’ section, etc., were not considered at all, although the potential is there and a family of 5 could really use it. Instead, the master bedroom is placed on the upper floor between the kids’ rooms and a granny flat is added on top (that is, in the basement).
Because of the generous living space, there are few small mistakes that arise from tightness, but the long hallway is the problem here.
I do not find the front with the double garage really inviting either. The front door is hidden.
Of course, the location on the plot cannot be assessed as it is missing!
