Hello,
a question for the experts among you. Does anyone know which sound insulation values must be achieved at a minimum in a new build of a single-family house if "increased sound insulation" has not been agreed upon?
So what determines the assessment of whether it is too loud in a single-family house or not? What legal foundations exist, DIN standards, etc.? Can someone recite that by heart?
I have seen the DIN standard 4109. But it contains somewhat incomprehensible guideline values. What about the recognized rules of technology? Are there any regulations, court rulings, or other things that can be referred to? For example, I have read that omitting an edge insulation strip or removing it prematurely before the final flooring installation does not comply with the recognized rules of technology.
In short: I am looking for reliable statements / hints / rules / standards :-)
Thanks
