Hello,

we have an external storage room with a separate door from outside.

Now some creatures (see photo) with a shell and many small legs have nested inside. I want to get rid of them finally and proactively spray something or set traps.

What would you recommend against such pests?

Vacuum up the woodlice and that's that. But they come back. This means: they are always somehow there. Lift a stone in the garden and there are the woodlice. Slightly damp rooms like cellars promote their presence in your own house, but also damp food. The (potatoes or onions) are best placed one shelf higher.

Hi, these are completely normal woodlice, annoying but harmless. By the way, they belong to the family of crustaceans and there are those critters up to 2 kg in weight and 50 cm in length... In quiet rooms with some humidity, you actually never get rid of them completely. We always had them in our holiday apartment on a North Sea island. When no one was there for months, the woodlice threw parties...

There are bait boxes that work quite well.

Best regards, Andreas

By the way, they themselves are not pests, on the contrary, they feed on, for example, fungal mycelium. But their presence indoors indicates that it is too damp.
