Maybe you can help me.
The grey areas are to be provided with a recess in the insulation.
White areas 16 cm insulation WDVS
Grey areas 14 cm insulation
This creates a drip edge on the 1st floor.
The plan is that the window sills made of aluminum between the window sills on the masonry are simply extended in this area. One window sill would even have to be installed around the corner of the house. I have doubts whether this approach is correct?
Does anyone have expertise?
Of course, there are also opinions saying why don’t we simply run the 16 cm insulation through and, for example, use a different plaster. We also find the architect’s idea visually appealing.
With a 2 cm difference, for example, it is said that very precise work is required, otherwise it will look uneven.
In the basement, the offset is technically no problem.
