Today we noticed that the STO WDVS facade insulation at the window corners of our developer house was not installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Instead of cutting the panels around the window, wedges were cut, and there are also cross joints in some places.
Now the question is: What to do? The manufacturer’s installation instructions are only recommendations, not a standard. Additionally, we fear that making corrections (removing the plans and cutting again) will cause more damage than the faulty installation. Moreover, we have only limited influence (because it is a developer project).
What is your opinion?

Just out of interest, since I built monolithically and I'm curious. What is the disadvantage of a simple insulation that has no other function than to insulate?

Otherwise, you can only document and point out defects during acceptance and see what comes of it.

The disadvantage is probably that cracks can (but do not have to) form in the plaster at those points
