I also like the color but the sun will extremely heat the building, noticed again today on my anthracite-colored wall. Between the white facade and the wall, a difference of about 10 degrees.

writes that it finds no "acceptance" among the neighbors. Apparently, they have somehow communicated their lack of acceptance. I always find it great that some mediocre oddballs think they have to accept something. I couldn't care less how my neighbor paints his house, on the contrary, if he paints it pink and is really happy with it, then I'll sit with him in the garden and be happy for him that he did it the way he personally likes it and not adjusted in any way.

That is the reason that makes me think about dark colors for plaster but also for windows.

Oh, I didn't think the topic of [Nachbarschaft] would be discussed so intensely here... that was not my intention either.

Criticism, depending on how it is expressed, can also become interesting. Everyone has the right to their opinion, and not everyone has to like this house. It's like ice cream: there are fans of chocolate and fans of vanilla...

What is important to me, however, is the technical execution, which definitely has to be right.

that is definitely a defect. Even a blind person can see that!

Of course, the color of the paint is the owner's decision. Depending on the distance to the dark object, it would also bother me as a neighbor if a black block towers 3m near my property.

Judging by the photos, you have a relatively large distance to the neighbors. For me, it would be a highlight if there were a black house in our city.

You are in a difficult situation,

If you have paid everything, you have no leverage left but I am not sure how much you are allowed to withhold. I am not an expert on this matter, as we always hold guarantees of 5%. Maybe that is the number you are allowed to withhold at most. Perhaps there is someone here who knows.

Best regards, Jann
