Hello I would like to inquire which water pipes are recommended. My father swears by soldered copper pipes. Then there are now also plastic with press fittings and stainless steel would also be possible. Are there any particular advantages for one or the other? Or are all solutions equally good? Thank you

You take what the plumber does best. In the end, it should be tight and work. 90% of the installers will use TW Aluverbund. Copper is more often used for heating.

We have now gone back to completely using copper. I had the choice. Although I am open to new things, copper is really a tried and tested system. Stainless steel is of course expensive, but supposedly the best.

Overall, however, I agree with my predecessor.

Good morning

Some water supplies advise against or prohibit the use of CU pipes.
This depends on the drinking water quality.
So ask there first.

Installations made of CU pipe are more complex compared to composite pipes.
The proportion of fittings and connectors, and thus the potential weak points, are also significantly greater with CU pipes.
