Water in the garage. Possibly damaged floor slab? Experiences?

I bought a house one year ago. However, for the past week I have had the problem that water is standing in the garage (workshop). The strange thing is that on the other side of the wall there is also water standing, but in the middle of the room; it comes more or less out of the joints. Is it a defective floor slab, and how can the problem be fixed? It also puzzles me that on the other side the water is coming up in the middle and not at the side. Maybe someone can help.
