In our new building, water repeatedly seeps into our basement from the neighbor's construction site. The neighboring house is still partially open. After the basement was dried out once again, drywall walls were installed. Due to the ongoing rain, the water in the basement is again about 5 cm high, and the drywall walls are slowly soaking up water. Can they be dried again with dehumidifiers, or do they have to be removed?

1. I would throw out the [Rigips], it will swell up on you. 2. How can water from the neighbor's house get into your basement? The houses (I assume a semi-detached house or a terraced house) are separated from each other!

I assume that it comes from the neighbor. Since we have a shared, elevated floor slab and water finds its way.

Definitely remove the drywall panels. Gypsum board panels develop mold very quickly. In addition, the wall area behind the gypsum board panels would also need to be dried again.
