Hello,

we have planned a water connection on the outside of the garage. A threaded pipe?! is protruding from the wall. Unfortunately, I do not know the correct technical term and therefore have no idea under which keyword I could search.

How can I connect a faucet here now? The pipe also extends quite far out of the wall. I have already bought a faucet.

Many thanks & best regards
Nine

This is the preparation for a frost-proof exterior fitting.

Thank you very much for the answer :)

I just googled it now and there is also a rod inside the pipe. But shouldn’t the pipe be inside the wall? Or does it need to be shortened?

That will be shortened. There are different manufacturers. Unfortunately, I don't know if the preparation fits all manufacturers.

I have found a video tutorial + a manufacturer that offers products for the thread size. Thank you very much
