It's really worth considering, the panels look good. How about the adjustment to the wall, on one wall there would be a 40x40 cm chimney included and on the other wall there would be a staircase (can only be installed after the staircase).

Hello Slevin,

the panels have a size of 130 x 285 cm, you can easily work with them using the jigsaw or angle grinder.

Trade in Germany

Hello 6Richtige,

is there a trade for the products in Germany, or only direct sales from Spain?

I have now clad the wall in the living room with Stone Design Luberon from Bauhaus. It looks really good. However, they are not suitable for the bathroom, as it is an imitation made of gypsum or something similar. With craftsmanship skills and enough time, it is no problem. It just creates a lot of mess. I mainly decided against tiles because of the chimney and the fireplace connection in the wall, and I also couldn’t find any samples of the tiles nearby, and I don’t always trust photos. It is definitely not a job for just one weekend, although maybe for a small wall it could be. But I would still let the adhesive dry for a few days before grouting. The price for about 18m² of wall surface was around 600 € (material and tools).

Hi Slevin,
thanks for the additional information. That still sounds like a bit more work with the facing panels from the hardware store.

I will contact the manufacturers to see if they can provide me with samples or if it is possible to take a look at them nearby.

Regarding the panels, I see the advantage that I can certainly install them within a few hours. Additionally, I can quickly remove them again if we move and possibly reinstall them if the dimensions roughly fit!

Regards

Hi

Another alternative is decorative concrete or stamped concrete, but not necessarily for the DIY builder. A very special plaster is applied, which is textured with stamps. Advantages are the low application thickness (usually 1-1.5 cm is sufficient) and the fact that you can work around corners without cuts. This results in a coherent joint pattern, as if it were built from much thicker stones. In reality, there are no joints, just faux joints. Stable and low-maintenance. Pictures at dekorbeton.de
