I am setting up my shower on Thursday. It is also a 120cm wide shower. I can measure it exactly.

Hello Nelly, I would be happy if you could measure whether the glass can be pushed into the profile to a total of 118 cm.
As far as I can assess, this did not go "wrong," but is quite normal. The shower tray is simply installed first and then tiled. And so only about 118 cm remain.
I asked about it today in a bathroom studio... and yes, normally the profiles compensate for about 2-3 cm exactly for that reason. That would also help me.
Maybe Nelly can confirm that.

I would like to give a brief update on the initial topic.. We had ordered a glass shower wall measuring 120x200 cm. However, there was only space for 118 cm on the shower tray. The profile that holds the shower wall to the wall still had some tolerance, so we were able to fit the shower wall exactly to the 118 cm of the shower. So everything is great... and it looks nice :) Best regards, Steffi
