I took a look at it: You can't just check what's going on in front of the door with the Reolink, can you? That means a picture/video is only taken when the motion sensor is triggered? Or can you switch to the live stream of the camera via phone?

Hello everyone,

I would like to install a video camera at our front door so that you can see who is standing there. However, we do not have power there (only the usual "doorbell wire," which is currently connected to the doorbell).

My wish is for a simple battery-powered camera (with supplied monitor for wireless transmission) that can be triggered by radio/WiFi so that it turns on and you can see who is at the door.

I have already searched a lot on the internet and found nothing suitable. Otherwise, it would also be an option to replace our current doorbell with another system. However, this would have to work with the power from the doorbell wire...

I would be very grateful for tips and information.

Hmm... I don’t know what to think now that you can’t google :-p

So two options:
- 1x Ring Doorbell Pro and 1x Echo Show 2 or smartphone. If you want a data monster, then really properly :-p

Or

- Arlo Pro and Echo Show 2 or smartphone.

I bought the doorbell myself.

But if you can’t even google then better leave it.

Yes, you can. Through the app, the live stream can be viewed on the smartphone / iPad even with sound. And the events recorded by the camera can also be accessed via the app.
