We have insulated our house step by step over the past year. New windows were installed in the fall. We are also aware that we now need to ventilate more.

Contact two specialist companies and explain your request to them. They should make proposals to you. Then you will have professional information and can make a decision.

Without knowing any further key figures, it is difficult to provide assistance. In principle, there are two options. A central and a decentralized ventilation system with heat recovery. I would opt for a decentralized one and install such a device in each room.

We had that in the plan as well but could not decide. Our house needs to be renovated and insulation has to be installed. The system then costs about 5000 CHF and that is quite a lot of money.

Therefore, we are considering a new build.
