Ventilation system in the new building

we are currently in the detailed planning phase of a new building. Now we are faced with the question of whether to install a ventilation system or not. If yes, which one? Centralized or decentralized?
We both work in shift work and we think that we will not be able to ventilate the house optimally.

Who has experience with these systems and can help us?

Natural building materials are building materials and not building services.

There is no natural building material with which one could ventilate or recover heat.

it depends on the insulation values of the new building and how airtight it is. If you move into the passive house range, controlled residential ventilation is indispensable. In addition, according to the new energy saving regulations, controlled residential ventilation is mandatory.

I would recommend using a ventilation system with exhaust air heat recovery as a central unit.

However, there are also other solutions. If you heat your house with an air heat pump, the exhaust air from the building can be used as a preheater, which increases the annual performance factor of the heat pump.
