Ventilation in summer without controlled residential ventilation is problematic

I just let the controlled residential ventilation run continuously. I don’t care about the humidity, I simply always want fresh air in the house, in summer as well as winter,... the amount of heat that comes into the house this way is low, air is known to be a poor heat storage medium. With passive cooling, it never really gets warm in my house anyway.

Do you have a finished basement now? I would actually ventilate a utility cellar very sparingly in summer, possibly dehumidify additionally. And regarding the house: In summer the air inside is simply more humid, without air conditioning you won’t be able to do much about it.
