I meant the house planner, so to speak the architect. The planner of the ventilation system specifies what, how, and where is needed. Then the house planner should plan the necessary routes/shafts. There may be a few iterations until everything is finalized.

That is probably the model designation of a ventilation unit.

Unfortunately, combining shafts usually results in the larger shaft becoming more than just an unwanted optical wall division; at that one spot, the concentrated volume then takes up space in a disturbing manner. The ducts routed within can rarely be laid out more favorably, and the savings in masonry usually fall short of expectations.

I would only consider relocating ceiling recesses if the structural engineer is not yet "finished."

Hi,

do you install these individual pipes for each air outlet? To avoid exactly that, we have 160 mm spiral duct pipes as risers in the house. From these, the ducts branch off on each floor. This is then completely embedded in the screed insulation. So we only had to install two 160 mm pipes, for which 40*20 cm would have been sufficient. They then disappeared in the pantry in the boxing of the gas boiler chimney.

However, this would mean a significant redesign of the ventilation system for you.

Best regards,

Andreas

Attached is the original manufacturer’s plan, everything is stated there. My general contractor (architect is also involved) recommended against a shaft in the bathroom on the ground floor and the one in the hallway.
